Program Requirements
Bachelor Program (Bachelor of Science)
A. Foundations Bachelor Work Book (45 Credits) The workbook is required by all students which includes practical instruction, General Bible, Life Skills, Basic Math, English & Communication, Health & Nutrition, Finances, and personal wellness. Students will also select (2) personal electives to complete the foundations requirement. B. General Session Lecturers (30 Credits) C. Major Keys (30 Credits) Intro to Biblical Counseling Part I,II, III, Inner Healing, Marriage & Family Ministry, Grief Counseling, Community Ministry, Psychological Principles, Law of Love & Compassion, Communication in Counseling. D. Research Submissions (15 Credits) Students will complete (3) individual short research paper from a choice of topics. |
Masters & Doctorate Program
A. Master or Doctorate Work Book (12 Credits) The workbook is required by all students which includes General Bible, Math, English & Communication, Health & Nutrition, Finances, and Personal Wellness. Students will also select (1) personal elective to complete the Masters or Doctorate foundations requirement. B. General Session Lecturers (6 Credits) C. Major Keys (12 Credits) The Biblical Counselor I, II, III, Internship/Field Assignments D. Final Research Paper (15 Credits) Students will complete an individual final research paper from their own topic. All topics have to be approved by the School. E. Live Presentation Doctoral Candidates must present their written final paper as well as an oral presentation in person or via video. |
