Community Ministry Program (P906)
 Embrace the call to help bring communities together for impactful change. 
Develop basic practical skills in ministering hope to individuals, and organizations. These basic skills include careful listening, helping people open up, conveying compassion, grace, and mercy, and guiding constructive ministry conversations. It includes advocacy and partnership with community organizations with same goals and objectives.

You can make the difference!

Grow in Christian maturity as a minister of the gospel. That is, learn to be humble, repentant, and dependent upon the Holy Spirit in heart and life while ministering to others. Learn foundations of community organizing. Bring community organizations together as well the general public.

​Broaden your general knowledge of Scripture as it relates to life and struggles while also broadening strategic and careful application of the Scripture to specific people and their situations. Learn how to depend on the Holy Spirit during the process of change.

1. Upon completion, students should possess aptitude in community ministry and faith-based Social Work 
2. Students will examine scripture and parallel themes with today’s culture Spiritual Enrichment
3. Eye opening revelation into the text of familiar passages of scripture as it relates to human services and work outside of the 4 walls of a building.
4. Students will grow in their knowledge of the Lord!

Program Requirements:

1. Biblical Life Foundations Unit, Professional Leadership Unit, Advanced Communication, Social Work Insights, Basic Counseling Unit, Life Coaching Unit: Children/Youth, Family, Grief, World Religions, Quality of Life Seminar, 6 short quiz/exams. In addition, students are required to submit a final research paper, please review instructions on our website.

2, The Student Workbook which includes community service projects, various writing assignments, resources and more! This workbook is mailed towards the end of the program if applicable.
3. General Session Lectures include various topics covered during live in person sessions, or zoom virtual lessons.
OPTIONAL: Personal Growth Electives include any additional course/topic the student is interested in studying to enhance their own educational journey. We do have a catalog of available courses for review or study.

This program is available for the Bachelor, Masters or Doctoral level.
